Rumson Fair Haven High School Ice Hockey

Sam Durdack is a freshman looking forward to his first season on the ice with RFH. Sam was introduced to hockey at age 9 in an inline skate league and fell in love with the sport. In 2010 Sam joined the Red Bank Armory Hockey program.

 

Since 2010 Sam has played year round on the Armory house league teams building his skills as a defenseman. Sam led his winter Pee Wee/Bantam Michigan and Finland teams to capture the league championship in 2012 and 2013.

 

Sam has also attended the Armory skills camps in the summer and winter for the past four years. Sam enjoys swimming, trail running and soccer in the off-season. Sam's favorite NHL players are the Devils' Scott Stevens and Patrick Elias.
